Anthem Chiropractic is owned and operated by Dr. Derek T. Day. We offer a variety of treatments such as gentle adjustments, physiotherapy (ultrasound, muscle stimulation, etc.), massage therapy, nutritional counseling, and non-surgical Spinal Decompression. Medical Specialist and Attorney referrals can also be provided as needed.
Dr. Day is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, and has long-standing family ties in the valley. Dr. Day passed the Chiropractic Physicians Board of Nevada exam in 1996. Dr. Day has over 15 years of proven clinical experience and was honored with a Nevada Chiropractic Association’s presidential award in 2011. He was also honored by the Nevada Chiropractic Association in 2009 for his support of the Chiropractic community. Dr. Day was again honored by the Nevada Chiropractic Association in 2008 for his dedication and service to the Nevada Chiropractic Association and the Chiropractic profession.
Dr. Day attended the Community College of Southern Nevada and the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He also completed his health science studies at New College of California in Whittier, California. Dr. Day is a graduate of Prestigious Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia. He completed his Physiotherapy training at Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia.
Dr. Derek Day is a community leader and advocate who works with local schools, sponsors Clark County sports teams, and volunteers his time to the Nevada Chiropractic Association. His practice is highly respected by his peers and is known for high-quality care. Dr. Day is also known for his friendliness, honesty, integrity, and compassion.
Dr. Derek Day loves spending time with his family. He enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and hanging out with friends and colleagues. He also loves to golf, fish, snow ski, and explore.
Dr. Day has an extensive background and clinical expertise in non-surgical decompression, utilizing Eurotechs ATXII, Decompression table, and protocols. Over the past eight years, he has helped countless patients avoid invasive neck and back surgery. Dr. Day continues to volunteer his skills for the underserved. Since its inception, he has been participating in the Returning Veterans for volunteer service program sponsored by the International Chiropractic Association. The program offers one year of free Chiropractic care to all returning Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Dr. Derek Day has a history of service regarding the challenges Chiropractic continues to face. He has worked closely with the Nevada Legislature and Governor Brian Sandoval. Through his hard work and perseverance, he has been able to assist the Nevada Chiropractic Association in providing high school sports physicals regulated by the Nevada Interscholastic Athletic Association. Dr. Derek Day also helped establish a Preceptor program to assist student Chiropractors to start training and practicing in Nevada. He was fortunate to assist the Association in establishing a chiropractic assistant program to help with continuing education.
